In the 1960s, an era characterised by social upheaval and protests against armed conflicts, "MAKE LOVE, NOT WAR" was a simple but powerful message that communicated the collective longing for a peaceful world without war and violence.
In view of the current global political events, students from the "Typographic Composition" course at the Mediadesign University, Berlin took up the slogan to interpret it and design it compositionally in the form of a DIN A6 postcard.
The resulting cards were then set by hand in the in-house letterpress studio and printed on EXTRASMOOTH White 240gsm.
* If you are interested, all motifs are also available for purchase. Individually or as a bundle.
